Bowie Knife

That makers mark belongs to Claude Bouchonville (Belgian). But seeing as how the ebay seller is listed as being in Wazirbad, Pakistan, I'd say the knife is either a counterfeit, and the maker is Pakistani, or the seller is using a picture of Mr. Bouchonville's knife to scam people. This is not uncommon on Ebay, I've seen it several times before. Either way, I would advise against making the purchase.

Here is a picture of the knife from the ebay listing.

The second pic is of a Claude Bouchonville knife I'm confident is authentic, as the picture was part of an online article for a knife show in Gembloux, Belgium in 2019.

Any ideas who forged this - any one recognize the mark by the hilt? Can't load the image.
Yes thank you - they take knives - obtain false reviews - clone a knife poorly usually. Well enough that the buyer in 80% of the cases keeps it and get it for a large discount if a positive rating is used. I wanted what you knew and hot damn id the forum didnt deliver! Thanks Killgar!!!

The top picture is a knife I would very much like to own - great symmetry - solid design with good balance
