Here's a little bowie I just finished up. Wanted to do one that would be legal to carry in a few states. Its got a 5 3/4" 1065 blade, wrought iron fittings with a curly birch handle, and a two ply leather sheath. Overall its 10".

You certainly have a unique touch...and I really
like the look..

The dreaded BLO. Nice looking little knife. Looks like you are having a little bit of Tai rub off on you. He has done several with a similar clip. Nice sheath also. You are really getting the hang of that leather.

Ray, You missed Texas legal carry by 1/4", it's 5 1/2 inches. It's great to see a new one come off the bench. I thought you might have quit making knives to be a full time handyman around the house :D

I agree with Mr. Andrews about your unique touch. It's quite easy to spot a Raymond Richard knife. Once in hand, it's quite difficult to put one down. This little one looks like it means business, I really like the attitude.

More please :D

Great looking knife Ray! The lines are unique and dramatic.... I love that style sheath you make. Does the seam go down the middle of the back?

Raymond

You really are my current favorite knife maker. Your sense of aesthetics must just match mine exactly. The wrought iron is great. Regards.

Chuck, I like the dreaded BLO, I'll probably use that on the next one. Actually Tai got the long clip design from me from a collaboration we did a few years ago but we both tend to like similar things. The leather work is the thing that is blowing me out the most. From someone that really hated making sheaths to actually enjoying it now. The thing I found out is I can be just as creative with the sheaths as I can with the knives.

Eli, I hope to have another similar BLO in the coming days that will be a 1/4" shorter.

I've pretty much run out of things to say about your knives Ray. Well, except that.

Big Boy, you just keep on making the good stuff. You have stepped it up a couple of notches with your leather.

Nice stuff my friend.

Oh yea I like it too Ray. Here is the knife I was thinking of of Tai's, circa early 1990's IIRC

You both have a very similar thought process.

Chuck, You got me. I was just thinking 21st Century. I keep forgetting that Tai's been making twice as long as me.

That's good news Ray, I look forward to seeing the Texas BLO :)

Eli, Here's the Texas BLO with 5 1/2" blade. I think I've got it tricked into thinking its going fishing. Little does it know its about to get fitted for a new sheath.
