Sorry for not working links, here you can see all pics:

http://www.messerforum.net/fotoalbum/showgallery.php?cat=526&ppuser=105

Blade: 260 mm P.J. Stienen Sanmai
middle layer 1.2842,
outer layers:
100 layers of 1.2842 and 1.2767 damascus,
differentiell heat treated.
Guard one piece of broncemix german name "Rotguß" ?
Handle desert ironwood with small fiber layer,
fixed with a bronce screw with hippo teath inlay.

Very nice, very fast, light and slim for the size, ...PERFECT !

Oh and look for the sheat :D

That looks like amazing craftsmanship all the way around.
The sheath is also art and I like how the guard is sculpted.

That is an amazing blade!!!!

I gotta send you a knife after seeing that? How do I follow that kind of craftmanship? :)

That is really a stunner! I like the little touches like the hippo tooth inlay. The sheath is beautiful craftmanship as well.

THX you all

i didnt mention the sheath "extras" :

it is very light also, because the leather is thin and wrought and sewed over poplar wood. The damascus stud could be screwed out and David gave me a simple but perefect rubber loop that could be screwed into the hole.
See the last pic.

Thanks Mr.Bad
there are so much "little touches" at this one, i am still finding new ones :D

For example the unsharpened part of the blade just in front of the guard fits my second finger, the san mai of the blade fits perfect to the choil/grind.

Have one recognosed the whole piece of the guard is ONE PIECE ?
Cool, or?

THX to all :D
