First, both knife and blade steel are very nicely executed.

Two questions, on the bowtie keeper.
First, these seem to be standard fare for bowie/fighter sheaths these days, has it been typical for sheathmakers to get Paul's blessing prior to supplying them with their sheaths?
Second, why are they needed? Seems one would have to do somersaults to risk loosing a medium or full length bowie from it's sheath and I don't see that often happening unless
being carried by a ninja warrior in combat. ;) :D

Besides, I have received new knives where the guards have been scratched from stiff leather keepers.
They are quite cool though and make a nice addition to a display.

Double keepers in that fashion go back to European cartridge boxes and packs as long ago as the 17th century. I think TianCai is on safe ground.
