Is there any reasonably priced usa made higher-end bowies? I know of entrek but any others? I'm talking 300$ and under.

Cold steel make some decent large bowies, depends do you want a traditional bowie or are you open to the modern looking bowies?

Are we talking carbon steel, stag, stick tang, embellished guard and leather sheaths with beads, silver, stonework and tassels?

Cool. I'm familiar with Bagwell, but the others are new to me. Guess I'll be researching fighting bowie design today! Thanks!

So, basically, you just want to destroy stuff. Why not make your own? For 50bucks, you could get a bar of 1095 and a file or an electric angle grinder and go to town. Then build a bonfire and throw it in, then take it out and throw it in a bucket of water. After that, roast some mashmallows for a while with it until it turns yellowish. Wrap some duct tape around the dull end and bingo, you're in business.

I'm thinking of an usa-made traditional bowie.

Hi Nternal -

I have a nice custom-made JK Gambler's Bowie - 01 steel, traditional coffin-handle. It is a sweet hunk of JK goodness.

Here is a shot - you can compare the size against the Levi's -

Here is a shot comparing the Bowie to a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian.

This Bowie was under $250 - I had Noah from Wasteland Leatherwork craft the awesome "apocalyptic" sheath, so that was not included in the price of the Bowie.

best regards -

Haha It's always about destroying stuff.
