Bowie review?

A while ago someone posted a link to a site where someone had tested one of Bruce Evans bowies. I did some searching and did not find it. I guess it was posted before we switched to new forum type. If anybody has this link please tell me. Thanks.

Bruce, did I read correctly that the EDS is 19 inches LOA?

Pretty close. Mine is just short of that at 18.5". Still flies well.

Yes Peter,That is close.The Blade is 12 inches and the handle is 6 inches lus the thickness of the guard.And since I don't have a set pattern and am forging the blades and handle frames I can get off +/- a little bit.The blade is also 1 1/2 inch wide...
I have one that I forged and didn't measure while I was forging it and it is 1 1/4 inch wide and only 11 inches long.I just haven't finished it yet.I figure a smaller version might be a cool idea anyway.
