7-8 oz. shoulder and dyed by me. This is my first one with a retaining strap.

Straight stitches, and it looks like good edges! :) Well done.

Yea, crappy picture, I seriously have got to work on that. The only part on the edges that I didn't like after it was done was a small line left from the beveling tool (name escapes me for some reason). I just pressed too hard. Won't do that again! Thanks for the words!

The edge beveler can be your best friend and worst enemy, and on the same project. ;) I curse it and praise it several times a day. :D

I also like the way you sculpted the throat of the sheath, not too awful many of us do that. It can be mind numbing, but the result looks so much better than a flat top sheath on a nice flowing guard like that one.

I meant to say that the handle on that knife is beautiful! Who made it? And can I see it nekkid? :p

Sweet! Thank you. :)

I'd love to talk big bowie sometime soon. ;)

It's funny, I sold this one to a BF member before I even got a chance to post it for sale. I was just showing it off. It actually started out as something totally different (full tang with bolsters) from a customers design and then he backed out so I changed it and ran with it. Thanks for the words guys, much appreciated.

I like your well made, no fancy frills, good sturdy using stuff, approach to your leather and knife work.

I try to stick with the utilitarian styles but need to develop my "fancy" skills for those special blades. Thank you!

Wow! I was deighted when I saw the pics of sheath AND knife....Hmmm, may have to put in an order some day...
