I finished this one up for an order yesterday. Thought everyone would like to see it. Six inch blade with light aging patina..Nickel silver guard and pins, antiqued stag handle..Custom Sheath with snap.

Thanks for looking

Looks more like a spear point than a drop point to me. I think this is a good looking knife, but would prefer it with a slightly thinner guard.

that's a tough bastard! I'd love to throw it.
The sheath is really nice, I like the way you've sewn around the male snap.
This combo will probably last forever, and not because it was stored carefully out of sight! It will probably receive several generations of shit kicking, several times over.

Thank you Keith and Lorien..
I backed and handstitched the snap with light elk hide for protection.

Thanks again
Matt

Excellent knife, but does it count as a bowie knife if it's drop point? I thought all bowies were clip points.

Thank you all..
Dr Heelhook...Not all bowies were clip points, Early style bowies/Spear point's, Were not clip pointed..As we know the Bowie today in our "modern world" many people think of a clip point when Bowie is mentioned. One of the very first Bowies had the look of a Large Butcher Knife..I forgot to mention, this wasnt made to be a full sized bowie but, that is obvious..It was made to cross beween my kephart blade style and a early Bowie design..
