This is the largest bowie I've built to date. 15 1/4" overall, 10" blade flat ground from 3/16" 01, hand rubbed finish, "A" grade ironwood burl, 1/8" copper spacers, nickel-silver guard & buttcap, Gunslinger sheath with antler beads.....

A very impressive-looking bowie - and you weren't kidding about the ironwood being "A" grade, that handle is awesome. Congrats!

Wow, what a beauty! Exceptional grind and the handle is fantastic. I really like the way you did the guard as well. That sheath looks great.

Agreed! That is a very nice Bowie and some nice pictures illustrating the workmanship as well.

Great Job Frank.That is one awesome package.I really like the idea of the copper spacers and the ironwood.:cool:
