Bowie

Here's a bowie I finished earlier this week. I'm finding it very difficult to take a decent shot of the knife, sorry. The blade is ~9.5" forged 5160, handle is claro walnut, guard and pin are stainless, OAL length is ~14.5". I am a little embarassed to say this is my first finished bowie (I've got a PILE of bowie blades in my shop ), this knife originally had a bronze guard and it went through many handle changes . I'll try to get some better photos up, I'm not gonna cross my fingers .

Thanks for the compliments guys! I wish I was going to the LR show, definitely next year. All these knives are bound for the Maumee Ohio show ...that means they're going in the basement to be beaters .

Thanks for the compliments guys! The knife is a pretty wicked chopper, I'm running out of chopping fodder though...everyting is frozen here . Brett, you are welcome to thin out the collection as much as you like, just send me a check .
