I would really like Busse to make a dedicated fighting bowie along the lines of Bagwell's Helle's Belle. No need for blade catching guard or coffin handle but keep it long ( 9" - 11" blade ) , light and fast with a sharpened clip.
Surely the market is crying out for a more modern looking, dare I say tactical, interpretation, of Bagwell's classic design? Especially with such great steel and Busse magic.
Then, do a version, interpretation, homage to Fred Perrin's Street Bowie. 5" blade, sharpened clip. With the usual range of blade and handle finishes, this would be a treat for real world carry.
Am I out of line suggesting Busse should take inspiration from other makers?
Surely not as the basic bowie blade shape has been around a long time.
I hope some of the good folk here can support my tentative notions and help make a young boy's dreams come true!
( Alright, old git's dreams come true. ) :D

Busse has made many, many, such knives.

The Internal Affair, 10 inch long blade, 9.5 ounces, neutral balance:

And so on.

My Busse, "bowie style" fighter, it's a little short, but the balance is

Now that's what I'm talking about! Evolute, sir, you truly know how to wield a camera, great pictures!
When is Busse going to make something similar again though?

There's the rub, my British friend.

I've kept my eyes on this for quite a long time...no luck yet. The secondary market has not been full of the blades seen above.

Meanwhile, I've enjoyed the Hell Razor, FBM and now the BA.

Stay patient and we'll get that Bowie eventually.

Because I will take any excuse to highlight this beauty again (not, sadly, not mine...)

Jockohomo,

Thank you for the compliment about the photography, but, to be clear, I didn't take any of the knife pictures. Most of those were actually taken by Jerry, I think.

The kind of pictures I take look like this:

I hope you enjoy my pictures, too.

Broos,

Those knives aren't mine. I do own a lot of nice Busse knives, but not the big fighting bowies. I prefer the outdoors oriented knives. I'm just showing pictures.
