VERY nice looking damascus Sandro. Rodrigo taught you well! Nice looking knife.

Thanks for posting it.

Very nicely done Sandro - you are putting your free time to very good use. That is a handsome bowie in every respect.

I particularly like the countouring of the wood on that frame handle. Too often with frame handles or full tang knives I see the scales left flat and shapeless. This one looks like it would feel great in the hand.

Excellent..! A very admirable piece.
I particularly like the use of different patterns.

great lookin knife:thumbup::cool:

Superb knife! The laddered damascus, shaped handle, and details all work together, and that's a neat sheath button, as well.

great looking knife. certainly can see the RS influence. I also agree with Kevin re the nicely contoured handle.

I looked, with my hands also, at Sandro's knives at Salão Paulista de Cutelaria (Cutlery Show from São Paulo) last year. I can tell you that the handles Sandro does are as good in ergonomics terms as those the best makers in the Brazil can do.
His damascus are gorgeous and he has great talent to design and fit and finish.
Don't let the part time thing fool you. The guy is good.
New knives by him showed at Nova Petrópolis show can be looked in a thread at SBC forums.
Mostra elas aqui, Sandro! ;-)
