I just picked up Bowles Skinner #264 from Rick Bowles, and it arrived yesterday. It has a gorgeous Desert Ironwood handle in Tear Drop shape, along with Brass Furniture to match. Here are a few quickie snapshots:

Ken, I'm really thinking about contacting my lawyer and sueing you for posting all these great pictures of Randalls that you have. Don't you have any modesty or humility? Some of us aren't as fortunate as some are at obtaining Randalls. I think we need to convene a special commission of Senators and hold hearings as to how you are able to get these Randalls:D Any way, another great looking Randall you got there Ken.

We're both in (gun-lovin') California, so some nut-job who is masquerading as an elected official may actual prose such legislation. ;)

Yes, the battle between the knife-nuts and the nut-jobs continues to rage. But I do think that if the nut-jobs really looked at a knife like this Bowles Special that they couldn't help but be impressed by the beauty of it.

Even if they shiver at the sight of a tacticool folder, the glowing brass and the warm wood and the flowing lines of a sculpture like this Randall would have to strike a chord somewhere in their hearts.

Here is the same knife with the Don Hedrick "mini" version:
