First up is a kitchen blade ground in a continuous taper from 3/32 CPM154CM with a satin finish and WSSI stabilized box elder burl scales held down with stainless corby fasteners. Blade length is approx. 7"

Next up is the same blade pattern handled in some figured ironwood that I found a small supply of a couple years ago and have been hoarding. These tested out at 60 Rc. Enjoy the pics and as always, comments and critiques are more than welcome.

Glad to be back,
Nathan Dallyn

Both woods look great to me. I'm not really an expert on kitchen knives, but this pattern looks like it would work just fine.

Very nice indeed,i think anyboby who loves cooking would be happy with either one,
but i am partial to the ironwood.

btw,do you have a website?

No, sorry to say it but I don't currently have a website. I did have a blogspot where I kept some pics, but haven't updated that in a while. The truth is I'm a lot better at working with steel than computers ;) so I may need to get some help with that somewhere down the line.
