Found my favorite inlay at a local dealer today and seeing it in person i just couldn't pass it up. I'd like to thank Jack at Classic Custom for his help today. I'm in love with his shop. If it wasn't an hour away i'd probably be a much poorer person.

Very pretty. CRK's has some of the nicest handle materials.
My Mnandi is the one knife I consistently do not carry. I'm not sure why but I just don't carry it. I love it but I'm still enamored with my Sebenzas.

Beantiful Mnandi, one of the nicest I have ever seen !!

Honestly, I dont think I have ever seen a mnandi that wasnt beautiful, but some certainly are more appealing than others.

Great Score !!!

Is this Jack from classiccustomknives.com, who has a store in Skippack just outside of Philadelphia?

Beautiful knife.

I ordered a left hand Mnandi in Box Elder four weeks ago. I called to check on it Monday and it was just finished and ready to ship. I think I'll get it Thursday. I can't wait. That Box Elder is a beautiful wood for an inlay. We had a Box Elder Tree in our yard when I was a kid. I didn't know...

Yes I believe that's who Freedom is referring too. IMO, Jack is a real gentleman and all around nice guy. Anyone up for a meet-up in Skippack to visit Jack and for a beer?

BTW: I just picked up biggerjon's Mammoth Mnandi :) Unfortunately I'm funding that purchase by selling a Bocote version. :(

The one and only.

Awesome! I was in his story a few weeks ago looking for CRK grease. Ended up being there for about two hours, he showed me all sorts of stuff I've only read about.

Just a great guy. The next time I buy a CRK I plan on getting it from him.

the first time i went in I spent way to much time there looking at all sorts of customs. i only looked at a few when i got the Mnandi because i was trying to get home.

Beautiful knife.

iamheckboy,

Did you order from Chris Reeve directly or from a vendor? I've not seen many left handed Mnandis lately. I love my Mnandi but really want a lefty version. :D

I ordered it directly from CRK. Heather confirmed all the material availability and the lead time the same day.

I haven't seen a LH version in a while; not since I had decided to buy one anyway. I won't buy a knife that isn't lefty anymore.

Thank you. I will have to try that. Good to know I can still get a lefty Mnandi. :D

I know what you mean. If it's not ambidextrous or lefty then I'm not really interested.

Gosh, that is BEAUTIFUL...I love this wood, without a doubt my favorite!!

+1, and congrats to freedom.

I have 4 Mnandis, but my box elder gets the most pocket time by far b/c it's one of my favorite woods,
