Here is a little utility knife that was made by Jim Largent of Bayfield, Colo. Has a 4 1/4" 154CM blade and Box-elder handle. Filework on top and bottom with a very comfortable handle design. I managed to pick this one up from Jim at the Knife Expo in Buena Park, Calif this year. Knife is 9" overall.

Here is a top view of the knife. The handle is dove-tailed into the slanted bolsters like it grew there!

Yeah I saw that knife in Beuna Park at the show. Very nice! Thanks for the picture. I also talked with him for a while.., very nice guy. Enjoy it..., great knife!

You're right about Jim being a pleasant sort a guy. I asked him if he would make me a sheath that had a boot clip, instead of the standard belt sheath, and he did with out hesitation. Thanks for the compliment Pete!

Greg -- Jim was at Crossroads show in Denver this weekend -- talked to him for a little while, and had a chance to ogle about half a dozen of his latest. He had a "plain jane" drop point, bolster-less stag handle about the same size as yours, that I just loved. Light, comfortable, and beautifully made. Won't find a nicer guy to talk with, as you said. Yes, got his card, will definitely be getting one. The only reason I didn't take on home is that the ones he had on the table were all 154CM or 440C, and I'd really like to get one of his hi-carbon blades.
