Here's the box I pick my Traditional small EDCs from, (thought you'd enjoy the peek), most were picked up for less than $5 at various yardsales and flea markets.

I know you didn't get that forum ring knife for $5. ;)

Would love to score some Queen winterbottoms on the cheap to go with my EDC jack.

Those old advertising knives can be kind of fun to collect too. Have to avoid those or I'll get carried away.

Wow!!...what a cool briefcase to have!!....I would have a field day at picking through those at $5.00 each...Im pretty sure you'd hear the question "and how much do you want for the briefcase?"

Great box of knives.

They are all fun to look at.

The advertising knives and all of the colored celluloid and pearl handles are a treat.

They are all a treat.

Thank you for the look.

I see some very good ones in the mix
nice briefcase, I'd like to own some of them (CS, Q, small jack left left down, black on left and the queens)

What is the Slant/Grooved bolstered stockman? Boker USA, Primble or Schrade. I love slant bolstered stockmen.

Those are some cool knives. Ive got a bunch from thrift stores . I need to gather them together and take a pic.

That easy-open Queen on steroids is a beast. I would love to see pics of that one open...

Thanks for all the comments guys.:)

I said most, not all:) were $5 and under, it took me 6 months of savin' change to buy the "06 Forum knife.

Most of the Queens were yard sale scores and as a far as the Advertisers go they gotta be in good usable condition first or unusual patterns, the logos are secondary, although there are a few I want but that's part of the fun in collecting.

The case was for some type of meauring equipment a giant micrometer or something similar, a place I worked a while back had thrown out a half a dozen similar cases, I grabbed them all.:D

The black one is a Camillus.

Admire that Queen Stockman in WCSB, not easy to find.

Interesting selection, bit like a box of chocolates, some sweet and some tough nuts:D

Did you say 'small EDCs' ? That Queen at the bottom is some manner of Yeti knife:eek: Must be about a foot/30cm closed:D:thumbup:

Thanks, I love the analogy and as for the monster EO Swell Center Jack, I couldn't break up the set. :)

i love the wurlitzer knife, i've always liked most anything wurlitzer, i'm always on the look out for an old wurlitzer jukebox.

thanks for sharing, you got some really cool pieces in that there briefcase.

thanks

A couple nice ring-openers there. Do you carry them often, and how do you find them compared to nail-nick or EO styles?

I carry them all at one time or another, my first one was a Hoffitz Ring opener I bought at an auction 25 years ago, I liked it and started looking for more, I didn't get another one till the 2006 Forum knife and the Wurlizer was a Shrade IIRC and I got that one about 3 years ago off Ebay for about $15 shipped.

The Schrade and the Hoffritz were easy to open and could be opened 1 handed, the CSC one needed a bigger ring IMO or a nail nick like the Hoffritz one has, short of an AO or Push Button/Auto nothin' beats an EO.
