Here's my latest.
Blade: ATS-34 SS
Blade length: a little under 3- 3/4" from front of bolsters.
Handle: stabilized box elder burl
Handle pins: 304 SS
Bolsters: 416 SS, bolster pins: 304 SS (for a little contrast..
)
I made the top cutting edge a bit shorter so in the reverse grip the blade doesn't cut your hand. I put 20 degree cutting edges on and gave it a "curved" crusher on the butt of the handle so when in the palm of your hand it isn't uncomfortable. I designed it so your thumb is up against the rest on the top..In that position the handle is in the palm of your hand for when a more secure stabbing motion is preferred.
