Found this as I was preparing for a day hike without the BK9. I'm not sure if he wanted to go, or he was guarding it.
 
I don't have a dog, but if I did, it would be a Boxer. Love those dogs.

I didn't like boxers, but the spousal unit did. I wanted a dog that could go hiking with me and not be so stubborn/insubordinate. We got two, the boxer and a German Shepard/Hound mix, Boxer= wife's, GS/Hound= mine...three years later, the boxers goes with me everywhere, he's even cuddled up under my arm as I post this from my couch.
