I believe they all were ats-34 as were the early SH1's that they fit. As for that one in particular, the serrations are what say "Not Jerry" to me. But again, I've been wrong before and I'm no pro on what Jerry has done in the past.

Actually I asked Jerry about the steel and he said that they were D2, I thought this was strange because the SH1's were ats-34 so I double checked and was told again that the HT's were D2. Hopefully IRC (I really should write this stuff down )

Funny..... I only paid 17 also, but I talked him down from 22.

Both fine with me. Although I think I'd prefer ATS 34, just for the rust resistance. Anyhow..... I hope, really, really, hope,.... it's the real deal.

It would be the first I have seen that wasn't detachable and could be attached to a SH1 or BBSHSH as a "D" guard. Has anyone asked Jerry if he made it?

theres a few things "not jerry" on that, mainly the serration pattern, and the angled edges of the handle. very sharp angles...

I emailed Jerry about that one a few weeks ago...He backed its authenticity. So no worries there. 1 of 5 prototypes of the HT...they are D-2 not ATS like the ad stated and it is from 1992.
