Hey guys, what the heck do I have here? This was something that came from a box of my father's possessions. I got a bunch of old tools and what-not. I have no idea of it's origin. My camera did not pick up on it but the knife itself is stamped, Solingen, Germany. I remember that Dad was big on Tree brand knives and weren't they from here too? The attachments are stamped, Germany. It's missing one that I "believe" to be a Phillips screwdriver, although that's entirely a guess.

Does anybody have one of these or know anything about them? Thanks ahead of time!

No , but I do think that it's awesome.
Does it have a no scout logo on the case or something ?

Hey H&S. It's sterile except for the name Germany here and there. Solingen is only on the knife blade along with Germany.

It's called a tool kit knife. Scanned ads are from Popular Mechanics, 1906 and 1909. The Hoffritz cutlery chain was still selling these Ulery tool kit knives in the 1960s.

Now that I think about it I've got part of a sak style one, it was made in Japan and all I got was the handle and file ( you open up a Phillips driver on the backside and it unlocks your tool to swap them out )

I thought I was missing a Phillips, now it looks like it's a reamer. Thanks Piso and everybody! I was pondering selling or trading it. Hmmmm...$2.25? :)

Some of them come with a little hatchet, which is only for batoning. The handle attachment is not strong enough for chopping. Most of them were broken by someone who didn't know that.

Hey Coug, good to hear from you. Could everybody imagine getting this kit as a young lad in the 60's?
