I carry a boy scout inspired pattern (victorinox pioneer) very often. Do you carry anything with the same setup? do you carry it everyday? Show me some pictures!

Any of them out there with a story?

I've had this one for almost 50 years. I don't carry it, but it sits on my workbench and gets used all the time.

Imperial BSA pocket knife, ca. 1958-62. This is not my actual knife, which went missing in a pile of fall leaves in a park about 50 years ago, but it's the same model I had. And here's the page from the handbook on sharpening:

An old Camillus from the '40s

My first knife. A Camillus Cub Scout.

Col. Coon made by Queen.

Vic Pioneer on top and a Farmer under it.

Yep, I like the pattern.

I love the scout pattern, though I don't find myself carrying one as often as I used to. While I'm hardly what you'd call a serious collector, I do have a modest assortment of scout knives from every decade since the 1920s.
I've added a few more since this pic, including these two older ones below.

Kaboom! You revive a thread and all sorts of good things appear. OK, in addition to the Imperial shown above, I also have a new (to me) Ulster:

On the shield-side, you can see the scale has faded from the original rich brown to a dark tan. I've covered both scales with baby oil to remove the whiteish deposit that collects in the jigs, but is there a way to restore the color? If not, no matter, as it has honorably aged anyway. But it would be nice to fix, if possible.

On a recent trip to see my parents my father passed me two boy scout pocket knives.

My fathers is an Imperial and my great grand fathers is a Remington. I have no information at all on these knives, is there any websites I should check out?

This is my second Official Scout knife, laying on my old BSA shirt; bought it used many years later to replace my first one that was lost by one of my younger brothers (a brown handled one just like Black Mamba has, the brand that one has long ago disappeared to my memory). I also keep one of the US Army issue knives on the workbench in my shed, basically the same knife as a Scout in all stainless. OH

I keep more than one stashed- in the truck, workbench, backpack.

-did any here have their scout knife on their belt while at school in uniform (or parts thereof) on Scout Day?

I carry a Vic Farmer nearly every day and still have a couple of old issue U.S. Military Knives stashed in a cigar box.

I had felt there was a big hole in my collection since I didn't have a camper/ scout pattern. I'd also been looking for an old Robeson. The other day I got a "twofer". Robeson calls it "strawberry red" , faded now to a rather indefinable shade, but still beautiful
