boy scout knives

Hello and welcome to Bladeforums!

Lots of people here will be more than willing to give you some advice, but it may be helpful if you could be a little more specific. I might infer from your post that you are looking for the values of these knives because you say you have thirty of this type. There is a sub-forum here called "Bernard Levine's Knife Collecting & Identification" where you can ask specific questions about older knives. Here is a link:

There is also a sub-forum here for "Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades". Information can be gotten there as well, but most will tend to shy away from providing any values because the market is so variable. Here's a link:

Additionally, I'll often browse Ebay by searching for a knife to see what the general market value is at a particular time. While this is also highly variable, it can give you a baseline estimate. The condition of the knives is obviously important - knives closer to mint bring higher values. The market for older, discontinued Boy Scout knives is pretty good right now, especially from Camillus or other companies that have gone out of business. One last note - Don't try to clean, sharpen, or polish older knives other than simply wiping them off. Most collectors want them just the way they are in order to make the decision themselves whether to refurbish or not.

Other than that, just start googling and learning.

Good luck and enjoy the journey.
