I got the Pen Knife I ordered today.

Made by Bura. Normal wood handle and brass fittings. Habaki bolster. Totally normal in every way (for an HI knife - no exotic materials or anything), except for the design itself - which is wonderful. Out of the newspaper, after a couple passes with the chakma, it was paper-cutting sharp. Nice little chopper, went through a 1 and 1/2" branch with no problem and didn't seem to lose any of its sharpness.

Dan's Pen Knife is about useful as they come. If i HAVE to pack light for a camping trip, ie humpin' out in the wilds with no pick up truck camp, i pack the PK and a leatherman. This set up lets me chop, shave fuzz sticks, saw, sharpen, pick up the coffe pot off the fire (leatherman), flip the campfire burgers (PK...dead serious), etc. Throw in a sling shot and I could get lost for months You got yourself a good 'un.
