Does anyone have any examples of a frame lock, where the lock section of the frame is contoured in to make the other half of a finger choil?

Picture a sebenza or another nice framelock with a nice finger choil :)

Pat Crawford has a few such designs. The Kasper is one, along with the Perfigo and Perseco.

R.J. Martin also makes the Avenger. I also think that Greg Lightfoot's Full Contact Fighter has this feature. There are probably quite a few others as well.

Perhaps I'm not understanding you correctly - but I thought the Sebenza does have a cutout to accomodate the finger and thus forming a "choil" and finger guard.....

Certainly the Kershaw/Ken Onion frame-locks like the Vapors are more obvious -

as well as the Speed-Safe assisted opening Leek -

Hi Redstripe. The Spyderco stainless steel "Cricket" incorporates the design concept you are suggesting.

The cricket is a great example as is Weilands framelock Commander. I really like the feeling of a choil in a solid framelock.

Thanks guys, for all the input.

The sebenza's and kershaw's choil aren't as pronounced as i what i had in mind, but yes, you're right.
