I was wondering how the Boye dent was put into the lock. Is the lock actually manurfactured like that or is the dent cut out at a later time? If it is cut out would it be possible to contact Spyderco and order a knife and ask them to skip the step where they do that (this probably isn't possible but it would be cool)? I'm not a fan of the Boye dent and its easier for me to close it one handed when its flush with the handle. Plus I never had my first Spyderco ever close on my hand and it didn't have the dent. I really loved that knife... I hate that I lost it.
