Boy's First Knife

This knife was made for a customer as a gift for his nephew. He gets his hunting license next year.
The blade is 4" of 1095, guard and fittings are wrought iron, Handle is my Forge Fire Sambar Stag. OAL is 8.5"
What you guy's think, Will this make a good first knife?

He will absolutey love that. All his friends will be begging their parents for a custom knife after they see this one. :thumbup:
 
A special knife for a special occasion in a young hunters life. That knife will mean something, very good job.

the knife will have a treasured place in that young man,s heart. I would expect him to treat it as if it were solid gold. absolutlely beautiful work

I hope he realizes that for it being his first knife, it could very easily be his last knife, what a treasure!
