Boyscout Hatchet?

I picked up this hatchet that is in pretty good shape. looks like a boyscout hatchet to me, what do you guys think? the only marking is "Made in Austria"

I doubt it's a Boy Scout hatchet...it would be stamped with their symbol if it was, and it would have been one of the US companies. It's a sweet litte hatchet either way though...don't see too many Austrian tools on here.

Check the starboard (right) side to see if there's a "Ha Ga We" stamp. HGW is (was?) an Austrian axe maker, certainly during the 1950s. I have one (a 50's forest axe) and with the decals are still on it. The steel on this one rings like crystal.
