I was just wondering if anyone has gotten one of these yet? I was considering adding the CPM-154 110 that they offer, so looking in the new catalog saw the bone series being offered.

It looks like a standard 110, NS, with white bone. They called it natural but I think it has a look of ivory, well kind of anyway.

So I'd love to here some opinions from all ya'll.

Yep, it's a standard 110, EXCEPT even though the bolsters appear to be NS in the photos, they are in fact brass.

What did you think of the inlay? I personally would like to see a dyed bone...but nobody asked me...as per usual. :D:D:D

I have one of the Bass Pro smooth bone 110's. The off-white or somewhat cream bone has nice subtle black accents and looks great with the brass bolsters. It's a hefty tool, weighing 7.6 oz. to the standard 110's 7.2 oz.

Ditto Johnny....pics of mine.

Bass-Pro must be a Southern thang......I have two Cabela's within fair distance (40 miles for the closest, 90 for the other).....another about 150 miles away, but I don't even know of any Bass-Pros.

Up here I guess they'll have to open a Walleye-Pro.

:D

You will just have to stroll on down to Altoona...

I don't know how far you are from Chicago, but a new Bass Pro just opened up there a few years ago.

Yup, I have one too and am loving it. The subtle off white bone, with distinctive gray specks and patterns, is well worth the 'C' note IMHO. I have been thinking of ordering a second for dress use. I don't know if it was mentioned, but the knife comes in a black 'Limited Edition' box, along with a distressed leather sheath.

Al,

Bass Pro is shipping this knife in the LE box with the distressed leather????

Did I understand that correctly? g

Jawilder and Packrat.....

Altoona would be the closest, but that's still too far into Dixie for me.....I'll wait 'till they open up a Walleye-Pro here in the Northland.

:D

Between Gander Mountain and Cabela's, they've got this area pretty well saturated, anyway.

Looks sweet!
So the bolsters are brass?
Hmmm they look nickel on the BP website.
So does that mean the white bone fixed blade Bucks are brass as well?
All the BP pics of the white bone knives look like they have nickel hardware.
They really need to fix the pics on their website.

Wow!! BP is treating us better than the Custom Shop. I'm getting a regular yellow and black box and I upgraded to a brown sheath (will it be a distressed one?) on those two BG-42's I just order. I wonder how big a run Buck did on the BP bones?

OK,

I'm on edge of trouble with the wife over my knife collecting but I went ahead and ordered the bone and the 154cm from BP today.

I'll have to do a 110 and 112 picture when all these guys get here. I'm excited about it. :D:D:D
