  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

BR and HR stripped

My Battle Rat was heavily used and coating was going off, so i decided to remove it completely, like i previously did with my HR. I used "Old painting remover" (poisonus, carcinogenic stuff  ) + pumice-stone and it took me about 1 hour. However when i removed Crickle coating i wasn't satisfied with the overall look. Five minutes of sanding with sand paper of 1000 grit and then 2500 grit and now it looks pretty cool

I love the looks of stripped nekkid steel.

Great work, Michael. The BR and HR make a great combo! :D

Lookin' good! I thought the BR was through hardened...guess not, though.

I really wish you people would quit stripping your coated blades. It is tempting me to do the same and I would just make a mess of it.

But seriously, very nice looking bare blades!

Those look GREAT. That's quite a pair you have --- i can't imagine anything you'd be unprepared for w/that duo...
