Nothing cures a rough day at work better than seeing the FED EX guy walking to your door...

Today he delivered my new Brad Duncan Whip Lash. This one has a 3.25" blade of 154CM (if I remember correctly), black and grey G-10 scales, heavy duty jeweled Ti liners, dual thumb stud, bead blasted Ti bolsters and a SS spine. The blade finish is BB on the flats and, I beleive, hand rubbed on the grind. The cutting edge is perfectly even and hair popping sharp. The fit and finish of this knife is very impresive...

But I haven't gotten to the most outstanding part of this knife yet... the new pivot system. When Brad said "iss like butta" he was not joking. I have handled alot of folders, both tactical and art, and this has to be the smoothest I have had in my hands so far.

I'm telling you if you want a knife that is built like a tank, but performs like a Porsche... ya better check Brad out.

I don't have a pic yet, but I will try to get one up soon.

Thanks Brad... You da man!

Sounds nice! I'd love to see a picture! When I was at the 1999 Badger Show I had a chance to eat dinner with some of the forumites here and we passed around a bunch of knives. Brian Turner let me check out one of his folders, although I can't remember the guy's name. The thing was so smooth and so easy to open it was disturbing. I think Brian said the pivot was tightened all the way, too. There was no blade play in the fully opened position. Once you got the ball to jump the detent, the thing literally fell open on its own. I have never seen anything like it! When you are used to factory folders like me, it was weird and I really didn't like it, but I could see how once could get used to custom folders pretty quickly if that is what you get to play with on a regular basis!

here's the pic...
