Yeah, I got to see the pics in chat too. They look really awesome. Brad also told me he works mainly in damascus, but does use CPM 440V. The damascus is also Damasteel. Just in case anyone was curious. Keep up the good work Brad. I am sure you have a good future in the business.

PS: my MO for mine goes out as soon as the roads clear enough for me to get to the post office

Brad's knives that I saw at Spirit of Steel were very nice. Heavy duty, good lock-ups on the ones I handled, looks like a Lightfoot influence in there somewhere. His pricing is still that of a newcomer so you might want to get on-board early. His e-mail is

duncanknives@yahoo.com

I think it looks more like a Larry Chew influence to me. Maybe Brad will jump in here and let us know who he learned the skill from.

Beautiful looking work. Sorry I missed chat this week.

Brad, very nice work and it was great meeting you last night in Chat. Chat is getting to be a real dangerous place to hang out, a guy could go broke with just the makers that hang out in there.

Well I gues so.The guys who wanted to know were my influinces came from.I first talked to Greg Lightfoot In May of 2000.He filled me in on the equipment to buy and in some of the finer points of knife making.I always felt I could make anything with a blue print. In this case I make my own Blue Prints and in turn My 13 years as a machinist take over from there.I am new and still pretty young.I will be in this buisness for a long time so I hope everyone likes Long endings.I am working on a web site that will be out in a few more weeks,duncanknives.com.If you have questions you can call me at 214-544-7706.I am gearing up for the Las Vegas Classic,Hope to see you there.
