Recommendation? Bradford Guardian 3.5 kydex sheath belt attachment options?

Hey all. I just bought a 3.5 Sheepsfoot and didn’t order a belt attachment, purposely. I knew I could get one elsewhere but more so I was hoping to use soft loops. I wear a 1.5” gun belt, double ply nylon (klik belt). I have an Evans knife and tool companion that I put soft loops on yesterday and it BARELY fits, so I imagine the guardian won’t as it’s a larger knife. What are my options? I don’t want the knife to stick off my belt much. Thanks in advance!
I don't prefer the tek-loks unless they're size specific. Been there, tried that.

Something like this? I use this setup to keep the knife close to my belt. I don't like a lot of stick out. I could also make a taco sheath which would reduce its foot print even further but I'm ok with how this one sits with the pancake. 20241027_120610.jpg20241027_121506.jpg

Yes, I use soft loops on all my holsters and had planned a similar setup to what you have, which is what i have on my Evans K&T companion. It completely wraps around the sheath so i can carry it horizontally. However, i'm wondering if the soft loops i have are going to be long enough to go around the taco sheath that they provided with the knife. I don't have it in hand so I don't want to assume they will/won't work. If somebody could either confirm or offer another style of attachment. I don't like the tek-lok style of mount where you move the bars to fit the belt and i'd like some type of lock on the bottom so it doesn't spring open. They offer a "mini safe lok" attachment at bradford which i assumed i could find on amazon but was unsuccessful.

I use spyderco g clip and other options. I feel the straps break too easily and I don't like horizontal carry with the 3.5 on my 34-36 waist. Those straps came with an Armatus sheath.

Some makers here can fix you up. I recommend Gary W.Graley. I own the same 3.5 (mine is vertical) but I’m sure he can fix a horizontal leather hanger using leather and the standard just like he did for mine. My belts are smaller than yours but that’s the value of custom builds! Can’t post pic at the moment but I bet he has one still. Great guy.

Using pancake Kaydex, I have taco.

I have two different setups I really like.

The Bradford on the lift has a Utiliclip-mini for pocket carry. I’ve got it set so the knife rides as low in the pocket as possible. My only issue is if you carry anything else on that pocket, it can be a little rough on your hand reasoning in.

The Spyderco on the right uses a Mini TekLok. Just fits a 1.5” belt, but I generally keep it attached to the front shoulder strap of my hiking bag. Unfortunately I don’t think they make the Small TekLok anymore, but you maybe able to find something on Amazon.

Both ride in an Armatus Carry ‘Architect’ sheath which I can’t recommend highly enough.

Both sheaths came with loops by default. Which worked just fine, and weren’t too loose, but I liked the versatility of the other attachments better.

With loop (secure, but a little bit of play)
