Bradford Guardian 3.5 kydex sheath vs armatus

Hey guys. I was wondering if anybody had both the stock kydex sheath as well as the armatus sheath for the guardian 3.5. I have the kydex sheath but can't seem to find a happy medium for carry. I carry about 11 o clock or so. I've tried one soft loop, two soft loops and a tek lok. No dice. I have armatus stuff for my ESEE knives but unsure if it's more utilitarian than the stock kydex.

Both sheaths are basically the exact same as far as how they carry imo. Only real difference is the Armatus has more holes for loop adjustment and has a deeper finger choil for the index finger.

I do prefer the Armatus overall, but if I had already had the Bradford kydex to start I probably wouldn't drop an extra $50 just for a minor upgrade. Especially when those upgrades are something I could do to the factory kydex with a Dremel in like 5 minutes..
