Would the Bradford Guardian 3 sheepsfoot fit in a front pocket with the taco kydex sheath? Or perhaps with the leather horizontal sheath? Have you tried carrying any other versions of the Guardian in the pocket?

Great EDC. I added a clip to the horizontal sheath of my Guardian 3 for IWB carry, and also made a slimmer sheath of latigo saddle leather for pocket carry as the horizontal one is a bit bulky (but well constructed). Mine is in Magnacut, takes and holds a fantastic edge.

Great small knives. Mine sits a bit deep in the horizontal leather it came with to be able to pull it from pocket concealment with absolute ease and only come out with the knife, not the whole rig. Of course it was built for retention while carrying horizontal and it works great for that. Possibly as stated, with a clip, you could easily draw it without taking the entire sheath with it. A small lanyard might help.
I really like those blades.image.jpgimage.jpg

Let me add this: if you don’t already own one, I find them light, well made, lots of scales and steel choices and just all around really well done. The handle seems a bit small and might be for large mits but I find that when I choke up on it as it is designed to be used, I get a really nice fit in my hand. It doesn’t fill my entire palm and stick out the other side but it’s a nice firm fit in my hand. The Jimping is great also. Price is right for a well made USA blade. Secondary prices are even better if you can find exactly what you want.

Yes, the knives are great. I have two, one with the leather sheath and one with the taco kydex sheath. I find it awkward to draw the knife from either sheath because the handles do not protrude far enough for a good grip. The Armatus taco kydex sheaths are better. Either taco kydex sheath will fit in my pockets but will not leave room for much else.

I know some people like the leather Bradford sheath for pocket carry, but like dialton dialton says, I don't know how you draw the knife without drawing the sheath with it. With either taco kydex sheath, you can pop the sheath off with your thumb, but the Armatus sheath pops a lot better.

I use to carry that knife but in the back pocket, given the pocket dimensions (dickies vs cargo) I'd say it wouldn't be a problem
Sold it only cause the handle was short
But it rode in the back pocket nicely
