Pull The Trigger And Buy This Titanium Lt. Weight Slick Looker Or Do You All Know Something I Need To Know? Thanks For Sharing Any Info With Me!:d :d:confused:

Buy it! You will definitely be happy with it. I bought the Alias I first and liked it so much that bought the smaller Alias II to go with it. Forget about the comparison to the Sebenza. The only thing in common is the materials, i.e., S30V blade, bead blasted Ti framelock handles. I actually find the the blade profiles of the Alias to be better looking than the "other" knife. Because of where I work, I carry the smaller Alias and it is my current EDC. I have had both knives for about 3 months now. I carry the large Alias I when I am pursuing outdoor activities as the larger blade suits my needs more. I have used the Alias II for cutting boxes, tie-wraps, rope and those pesky plastic clam-paks. The blade is still shaving sharp, has zero blade wobble and is still centered. I oiled the pivot on it and it is very smooth to open and close. It is very light in the pocket as well. I don't think you will be disappointed if you were to buy it.

P.S. They are manufactured by Benchmade.

Do a search on this forum. There are a number of threads. I'm not familiar with the model in your post. IIRC when the Bradley Alias was first released it compared itself to the Sebenza which stirred up a hornets nest. However those who had bought it had nice things to say about it. That model was made by Benchmade.

Alias 1 is good. Sebbies are close to $400 now. No comparison. In fact the Alias 1, with a thinner blade, cuts better.....

I like it....

I appreciate my Alias I. For a Titanium handled, S30V blade, framelock, it's a very good value. However, the quality and fit/finish does not compare to my Sebenzas.

I've never handled one, but I've heard good things about them. From the pictures I've seen, They seem to be pretty well put together. Go for it.

I have been EDCing an Alias I first production on and off but more on as of late. Just a great feeling Solid folder for the money. I got mine then heard they were made by Benchmade. Benchmade makes good stuff. I touch mine up once a week on a sharpmaker if needed and it does everything I need it to do.

the similarities to the sebenza, price excluded, are hard to ignore.

i think 200.00 is a fair amount to spend on an alias. i have handled them and they are very nice in their own right. smooth, solid lock up, fit and finish were excellent.

I said this in the previous thread also...buy the real one and not the knockoff "frame lock" AKA Chris Reeve Integral Lock... I have owned an Alias 2 and there is no comparison to the Sebenza. The Sebenza uses much tighter tolerances and a few months after usage, you will know why the Sebenza is THE folding knife.

That being said, the Alias is a good knife and well worth the $150-$200 or so you should spend on one. Now, for the money, the Sebenza is more knife for the money, but it's also more money, so take your pick.

ive used my alias for work for quite a while with no problems-maybe you love the sebenza, but doont hate the alias-

Hi All,thanks For All The Input Especially To A Newbie On This Forum (although Not A Newbie To Blades By Any Means) Makes A Guy Feel Good To Ask A Question And Get 20 Valid Responses.
Bottom Line If I Can Buy A Alias 1 For Under $175. Pull The Trigger?
Thanks Again

Yes, go for it. I won't because I've already got Sebenzas, but the Bradley is a good knife for the money. There are a lot of titanium framelocks out there. Chris Reeve doesn't own the market on them, and never intended to.
