:d :d I Just Received My 1st Bradley Alias And I Could Not Be More Pleased!
I Just Wanted To Thank Everyone On The Forum Who Gave Me The Positive Input To Pull The Trigger And Order This Pup!
Thanks All!!

Told ya they were awesome knives. I touch mine up now and then on a sharpmaker and it is better than new. They look better and better as you they wear in your pocket! In my opinion.... I am glad you got one. I got a II but don't use it as much as the I.

Hope you enjoy it! Post a review after you have been able to give it a good test run.

I have the alias and find it top notch. Benchmade was on to something when they started making these. It is my understanding that BM is the company behing the Bradley line but all I know is the Alias is a great knife at a decent price.

Congrats on your Alias I. Nice knife for the $ and is still one of my favorites. You should be very happy with it.

SO FAR I'M REALLY ENJOYING IT, ALTHOUGH THE 2 THINGS THAT ARE PROBLEMATIC ARE THE DEPRESSING OF THE LINER LOCK TO CLOSE THE BLADE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO CLOSE WHICH SHOULD LOOSEN UP WITH USE AND THE THUMB STUD WHICH IS A BIT SHARP.
BUT I'M LOVING IT ALL THE SAME.
THANKS TO ALL FOR THE INSITEFULL FEEDBACK.

The framelock should ease up after some use. I too find the the thumbstud to be a little uncomfortable. I found that running my thumb down the groove and pushing with the middle of my thumb is a bit easier at least for me anyways. I also added a little bit of oil to the pivot and open/closed it a bit and it became smoother.

Take a pencil and scribble on the tang and the lockbar where they contact each other. This will lubricate the lock slightly, making it easier to close without degrading the lockup.

Use a ceramic sharpener to buff the thumbstud lightly, which will smooth the sharp edges. A Spyderco white rod will work nicely.

I did this on all my Sebenzas, and didn't worry about it, since the anodizing wears off soon enough anyway.

Just a way to make the Alias look more like a Seben ... uhh ... a typical thumbstud folder. :)

I've never touched a Sebenza, so I can say without hyperbole, that a couple of Alias 1s and 2s that I've handled have been the smoothest openers I've ever touched. VERY IMPRESSIVE, I'm sorely tempted to acquire one myself, it time.
