Hey members.....I've always been a Spy & BM knife enthusiast. Well, I step out of my comfort zone...just bought a Bradley Alias 2....blue TI scales....heard its harder to find.

Can any one chime in, on your experience with this knife? I don't know much...but heard they say its a poor mans CRK knife

Have an Alias 1 that has pretty severe lock rock - bad enough that it just about slips off the tang and can be made do disengage if you press hard enough. Sent it in to have it fixed, and got it back with the same issue.

You could say my experience with that knife has been a negative one. I definitely regret buying one and I'm trying to get rid of the defective one I have. :thumbdn:

Since you just bought one, can you share your experiences with it?

I also have an Alias 1, but mine has been great since the day I bought it six years ago. It was my daily work folder for several years and after countless openings and closings the lock-up is still rock-solid. It's one of my favorite folders out of many and I've never regretted buying it. A great knife from my experience.

I replaced the pocket clip with a longer black BM clip and replaced the little pointy thumbstud with a larger aftermarket one.

And by the way, the Alias is made by Benchmade.

Love my Alias 1. IMO it's superior to the Sebenza. I had both and sold the Sebenza and kept the Alias. The Alias may be the smoothest folder I own. Not to mention the titanium handles have held up better than my Sebenza did. That thing would scratch if I looked at it wrong.

I have been looking for a Bradley Alias II for my son's collection (his name Bradley). I spoke to a dealer that I buy from frequently who advised me they are really good knives, they sell well and quickly, but that I should let them select which one I purchase. Let them check it out first. He advised that they have had a few come back with issues. He said, however, overall people have had good success and really like them. That's all I know about them.

I have a Bradley Alias I. I really like the features of the knife. It has great blade shape with a stonewashed finish. S30V steel. It's lighter than the large Sebenza, because the scales aren't as thick. The blue anodized thumbstud and standoffs are nice looking. It has good jimping on the spine and is comfortable in the hand. The detent is much lighter than the Sebenza's I own which makes it much easier to open, and you can flick it open if you so desire.

I did have to send it in for warranty service twice, once to fix a sticky lock and the second time to fix lock rock/blade play that developed when they fixed the sticky lock. After getting it back the second time it is rock solid. I was very happy with Benchmades customer service.

The jury is still out for me, I need to own it and use it a bit longer and see how it holds up considering the out of box issues.

Wow!!! Thanks fellow knife enthusiast! I feel stupid....never knew its made from BM...so I am still in my zone.....I almost pull a trigger on used Strider, CRK...even Hinderer...but I don't know much about them, fearing worst it's fake. So I only step it up the next price range.

I have been very happy with my Alias II, lock is great and its freeflow smooth and no movment. Good speciment for sure. I even damaged the studds sharpening and after been in conntact
with BM customer service they sent a new out to me for free, to Sweden! Im very happy!
