What can you tell me about the Bradley Alias II. I'm going to be buying one and I've heard they are rock solid. What are your impressions?

Honestly I really liked the design but I was rather underwhelmed when I recieved my Alias II. Came with side to side to play out of the box that I couldnt completely get rid of adjusting the pivot. Also I've had sticky lockbars on framelocks before and actually prefer it but this one came with a rough and rugged finish on the lockbar that was more like a super glue feel than just a normal sticky feel. All in all I would of been pleased if this were a 100 dollar knife but on a near 200 dollar knife I expected more. Good thing was that CS was good and I did get a full refund on it.

Just want to add that I would reccomend a Spyderco Sage 2 which is a bit cheaper but superior alternative to the Alias II imho.

Very satisfied. Could I achieve a 100% tank-like lockup? No, but close enough, after breaking it in and some adjustment. Good ergonomics for my small hands and feels both solid and nimble. 17.8/20

I have the small and large and love both.
Great steel,
Great action (we are talking about the auto's..., correct?)
For $140, you are hard pressed to come close to the quality

I have an Alias II and find the grip and blade design better to my liking than the Sebenza. My Alias has a very good fit/finish and lock up.

I couldn't be happier with mine. The lock-up is 100% solid. The action is super fast and the design is excellent. If your experience is like mine, you'll be happy.

I have the smaller one(not sure what model that is) and I like it. It is a good knife that was easy to use and had that same simple elegance the sebbies have.

I have 2 Alias 1's. The quality f/f, lockup, and all the other things we look

for in a knife are excellent. No blade play in either direction. Another member

memtioned he liked the handle and blade shape better than a seb....I think

I do too. The blade shape is like a CRK regular...much better than the

sebenza blade shape imo.

I purchased one in May. The knife opens like its assisted, and is pretty harsh on the thumb, locked up very solid.

But...It was not sharp... I would even go as far as saying that is was simply dull. I was very disappointed. Not worth the price IMO. I have knives that seemed to have better craftsmanship, ergonomics, and design for half the price...

I know, I know... Some people are all about Ti... Not me, I dont see the big deal about it.

Exchanged it for a paramilitary, I was much more satisfied with it.

For me, the BM Axis models are more fun to play with, and the Sage I is an excellent alternative for about half the street price.

That said, the Alias II is a wonderful blade, lightweight, well-made and just about a perfect size for EDCing. You could hardly go wrong if you decide to get one.
