Has the Bradley Alias been DCed? I have recently started looking for an Alias II and all I could find was combo edge Alias I and II on the bay. I learned not too long ago, they DCed the Mayhem. Anyone know what is the deal with these knives?

Thanks,
John

Not sure, but I hope not!

great knife for the money, I was thinking of gettingn an Alias too...

Glad I got a Mayhem while they were still around, it's one of my favorite knives of all time. ...my most EDC'd blade.

I doubt it, if you look on knifeworks it just says that they are temporary out of stock, if they had been d/c it probably would have been listed as out of stock or below it would have said while supplies last or something of the sort.

Bradley hasn't shipped a knife in many, many months. I can't tell you the reason but I know I took them off our site. I have no reason to think they will be back.

I hope they're not DSC'd.
They are probably the best bang for the buck of any Ti-framelock made.

I'm glad I got mine when I had the chance :D

I don't know anything about it, but Thomas W from Kershaw has posted about the new Bradley Kamura II that Kershaw is manufacturing for Bradley and shown the knives being assembled. I would think some of those will be shipping soon.

It has said "temporarily out of stock" for like 6 months now.

Ya im not sure what the deal is either. A couple months ago I looked everywhere for a Alias 1 and I could not find ANY except for partial serrated, half g-10, and damascus models. I thought that they would be back soon but like mongo said everyones been out for atleast 6 months. On the bright side I found one on the exchange and it is a very nice knife. Very good quality and f&f, I would recommend it to anyone.

Well crap, that makes me nervous....

I was just about to get a sebenza for EDC and an alias for a WORK knife....just waiting for the out of stock to get bacK IN STOCK.....

SOB!

I emailed them last summer, and they said that production was behind. Since BM does their production, who knows.

I talked to Jason from KC last summer IIRC he told me that either Bradley was

was being sold to company or another was going to start making Bradley.

Call Jason, the man in charge, at KC and ask him what the story is I know he

will know whats going on.

I hope this helps!

Just received a new Alias II. Ordered it in December and had been on backorder. They must be up and running again. Hope this helps.

I'm looking for an "Alias I" in plain edge satin finish, but can't find one anywhere - except one place that wanted the price of a Sebenza so why bother? Darn, I like that Bradley too.

I emailed Bradley Cutlery a couple months ago and this is what I was told,

"Thank you for the kind words. We are currently in negotiations with a new manufacturer to produce the Alias line for Bradley Cutlery. Once production is back up and running, most affiliates should continue to carry the Alias model. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Thank you for your interest in Bradley Cutlery

I personaly hope they do not change much , but time will tell

The ironic thing is in hte original promotion of alias knives, it claimed sebenzas were hard to find to buy. Which was a lie. Now it's hard to find an alias for real. Be careful what you say, it may come back to bite ya.

Word on the street is, Bradley couldn't find another company that could produce the knife at the same quality and price point as Benchmade, so they went back to BM for manufacturing Aliases.

i had the same problem searching for a bradley alias 2 plain edge. I finally gave up searching and ordered a partially serrated from Notyourmamasknives. i heard they tend to mess up your order. So I was worried, but the price was great. Turns out they messed up my order and sent me a plain edge alias 2 in anodized blue. (They supposedly did not even sell this model.)

Was this one available for sale a while back? It has the same blue handles as the limited damascus, but with s30v blade. I have not seen a picture of one like mine ever. Does anyone have any info on this. Was this an option offered for a short period of time, or does nobody take pictures of theirs. It is an awesome knife.

But I am still going to buy a Sebenza. Hopefully soon.

Yea I saw a dealer that recently got some Aliases back in stock. Looks like they are hitting the streets again.
