this was the link for the old auction. you should still be able to view it if you scroll down on the page. there are some pictures there.

Congrats Mike , on the Hammer - Looks like you got your work cut out for you , for a little while anyway . That will be jammin when its all refurbished !

I think Billy Watson uses one of these.

The only other refeance I have is that movie "Fly Away Home" the one with the geese. The movie's redeeming factor is the Dad's an artist blacksmith with a nice beam hammer.
:D

Good score Mike.

Tim Zowada had a larger version of that hammer back in the 80's, Michael. if you don't find another source, you might consider emailing him to set up a phonecall. tzknives.com He's very savvy about machines.

J: i can't remeber if i got in touch with him or not. i'm going to have to try again

Fitzo: i'll try Tim too i hear he has one.
thanks guys

here are the pics

That's very cool Mike. Maybe the next NECKA HI can be at your place so we can see her run.

thats what i was thinking. i'd love to have a hammer-in here. plenty of room. now i have all the toys needed. and a free petting zoo:jerkit:
if i can ever get her running

i used some PB blaster and liquid wrench on it today. muscled it around a little and now i have about 3/16" up and down movement, more spray tomorrow and more muscling around. once i get it moving then i can figure out the details on getting her running.

Sweet! I emailed Kevin. i'm sure he'll have some kind of info for me.
I got some starting info on my post on don fogg forums too. back outside to try to get some more movement out of it. I'll post progress later.

thanks guys
