Has anyone else seen the Bradley folder? I saw it at the Indy 1500 gun and knife show, and thought I was looking at a sebenza until I got closer to it! I wonder if Chris has seen this knife? It's scary how similar it is to the Sebbie.

Sorry--I didn't mention the name. It's the Bradley Alias I if you want to do a search and see this knife.

The search funtion will reveal much about the knife, it was introduced at the last Blade Show. It is produced by Benchmade and marketed by Midwest Gun Exchange.

I got to try the smaller version on a passaround and it is not in the same class as the Sebenza. To get a framelock as good as the one CRK produces you have to go to one of the better custom knife makers that offer them.

But they haven't been able to kick the small Seb out of my pocket. And I'm a long-time BM fan.

The 635 in particular has qualities that I actually prefer over the Seb, like tip down carry, and a hole rather than lugs, but small touches, like a lack of a ceramic detente, the Seb's pivot system, and engineering catering to repeated disassembly keep CRK folders out in front for me.

BM sure has some nice stuff out right now, though!

Professor.

IMO the Bradley is a decent $100 knife. Depsite it's looks, it's still not in the same league as the sebenza.
