So my with my Bradley Kimura 2 the blade seemed to be getting stuck in 1 side of the handle. It resulted in me grabbing the blade in a few instances and cutting myself. So I went and loosened the pivot screw on that handle but during flipping it seemed to tighten itself back up again frequently. So I got out some blue loctite and took out the pivot screws in both sides and loctited them. Problem was that the female side of the screw was flat on the other side and spun freely. So I could never get the screw back in tight enough and now the blade knocks against the handle on one side. When I tried to tighten the screw the female side just spun freely and didn't tighten. I couldn't get a good enough grip on the flat side of the female to stop it from spinning. Now the loctite has dried making things worse. I can't unscrew or tighten the screw even after locking the handles. I tried to find some information online about how I might fix this issue. Somewhere someone said to heat up the screw to 400 degrees to loosen the loctite. How would I heat up the screw? Anyone got any suggestions?

If you used blue loctite you can just use a blow dryer on the screw to melt the loctite out.

Sometimes, latching the knife open or closed will buy you that little bit of resistance you need to keep the female half from spinning. It's not going to get you enough to break the loctite but it might help after you get the loctite cleaned off. Try the soldering iron for the loctite.

It sounds like your screws are, well, screwed. you might want to talk to bradley. if their CS is anywhere close to that of kershaw, who are the people who make the knife, then i think they will fix you up quick.
