bali guys are all over it, shown in stock and preorders are already shipped! can't wait to get mine, anyone else?

Looks nice, but I don't like it nearly as much as some of the other relatively (not that recent) recent production balis, like the szabofly, 32 or, less recently, bradley's own mayhem.

But the price is pretty competitive, and the decent production balisong market is so small that any choice is good.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but why is this in the Kershaw forum?

Is there a link between Bradley and KAI?

I'm seriously asking, I figure I must be missing something.

Maybe Bradley switched or expanded their list of contractors?

edit a different forum said that Kershaw is indeed the Kimura's builder and they referred to a subforum where a Kershaw rep spoke with them.

there was a rumor that kershaw designed this knife, but thomas smashed that one months ago. Mods?

"I see" said the blind man.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Quote from Missa Thomas:

Look, I know this is no surprise to anyone here, but we are producing the piece for Bradley Cutlery. We've ended up having to delay the knife due to our regular production taking priority. We had hoped to have the Kimura to Bradley by now, and they have been quite patient with us and understand our current production situation.

now will you buy one?

i've been wanting a bali for a while, but can't see myself spending around $200 for soemting that i'm gonna swing around and drop and scratch.

Newgraham has these in stock for 85 dollars.

Despite me not being too psyched about its styling, at 85 dollars, this should be a huge bargain. It's interesting that Bradley is attacking this price point though. They were always trying to be another CRK.

Anyway, that price point makes a lot of sense to me, so if you want a nice bali and don't want to spend more for the Benchmade, go for it. I actually like how this looks MORE than the 42 (but not the 32).

Wow, Benchmade really should consider supporting their forum better. If topics like this keep spilling into here people are gonna think KAI just bought Benchmade.:D

Edit: And I was sure Thomas had said earlier that Kershaw was not producing that knife. Ohh well, the beans are spilled now. I actually had to go and read the post myself, Kershaw is producing the Kimura.

I bought a cheap bali from Sharp Phil a while back to learn on. Might have to pick up one of these Bradleys in the future...
