Looking for info. on these folders. Any info. good/bad indifferent is appreciated. I can pick a large one up for 200. Don't know if that is a good deal or not. Don't know much about them other than they are supposed to be the working mans Sebenza. keepem sharp

No offense but this is something like the third time this has been brought up in about 3 weeks. IMO it's strictly a $100 knife, any more then that is too much.

If you go to advanced search, type bradley in the box, pick in subject line only you'll get maybe a dozen threads you can read.

Hear you DaveH, I just ask that question 3 days ago~ ;)

go check my post on 18th. Its about bradley Alias, but you will figuer your way.

I knew I had seen that knife before. It is a BM Aries style blade. Saw a pic of them together and they are about identical. Guess I will pass. Maybe I'll just hold out for a used Sebbie. keepem sharp

Wait until someone gets broke and his sabbie is yours :D

But seriously hard to find a used sabbie. Not even on ebay.
She is worth to wait for sure. I don't think the price for new will ever drop.

Do a search and read all the threads if you have time. I did, and my conclusion is that some of the hardcore Sebenistas dislike the Bradleys, and most other guys who have handled them or own them like 'em fine.

New Graham is selling the Bradleys for about $168 for the small and $206 for the large. At about half the price of a new Seb, are they worth the money?

Heck, who knows ... we're talking about guys who can afford from $170 for the small Bradley to $400 for a large Sebenza ... we're all paying quite a bit for the last few percentage points of quality or performance (or maybe for bragging rights).

I got one of the small Bradleys and like it fine, but no better than some of my less expensive knives. I'm OK with my Bradley but I'm not so impressed that I feel the need for another one or to upgrade to a Sebenza.

Let's face it: Currency has face value, but we all value our money differently. To each his own.

Regarding used sebbies every few weeks they come up forsale. Last a looked a couple of days ago there was one forsale on another forum.

I actually like the knife. I have considered buying one. I would like to handle one. BUT, if you want a Sebbie, GET a Sebbie, as their IS no replacement for one.

I'm heard a lot of not so good stuff about the Bradley's but I've personally never held one or even seen one up close so I'm not going to speak of something I dont know about, But......

I had heard that Matt Cucchiara once posted a thread somewhere with nothing but praise for the Alias' and I think he even modded one w/the Fizz and all that good stuff and carried it for a little while.

I am very intrigued by this knife, especially the price.... but with no one locally that sells them I having a hard time telling whether the negatives are mostly coming bc of the "Sebenza copy factor" or if they are genuinly not that great. I just dont see how they could be that different from a Sebbie really, but once again I've never held one so I cant say! Man, this Alias question is really getting on my nerves but I dont wont to have to spend $170 to find out bc they dont seem like they sell that well on the secondary market!

The sebenza is really not that special...if you want the bradley, get it...if you want the sebenza and can afford it, get it....but I wouldn't believe that anything not Sebenza (named) is not as good...

Benchmade makes the Bradley. If you want a titanium framelock with an S30V blade for less than a Sebenza (and less than a Bradley) then get a Skirmish. :)

Sage Wisdom from the East (Coast)!

Ditto on the Skirmish. Same build as the Bradley so you have another option and even for less $$$.

Re the Skirmish: Probably not a bad piece of advice, but perhaps not everyone's cup of tea.

Personally, I like the looks of the Bradley better than the Skirmish, and they're both BM built. So, I'd have to say I'm still quite satisfied  with my small (Alias II) Bradley, which I find to have a nice grip shape for my mitts and to be a nice size for weekday EDC (I work in an office).

That said, a Buck Mayo is on my wish list. Sigh. Does the madness never end? :(

On a happier note, just ordered a Sypder Moran drop point fixed blade.:) Now, the wait for the brown truck.:grumpy:
