I love to get feedback be it good or bad from people who use the knives I like to make.

I received an e-mail from the shepherd out in Washington.

Apparently when he cut the sheeps throat. The knife almost severed the head :barf: . The thing just dropped and bled out.

Randall said he's never used anything but an old Buck knife for the slaughtering and this was a whole new world for him. He said the only thing that scared him was that he used too much force into the cut and it happened so fast that he checked his belly after the cut to make sure he hadn't cut himself :D

Kinda gross, but I guess he's happy.

I wonder if it makes the meat better when they just drop like a rock?

the faster they bleed out, the better the meat. :)

What were you expecting people to use your knives for -- cutting gift ribbons? :D

Well done, Mark. It's always nice to know that something "purpose built" does it very, very well. :)

I love stories like that! I have a mental picture of him sawing on that sheeps throat and trying to hang on at the same time until he got the job done. You will probably keep him from developing carpal tunnel syndrome.
God Bless!
Jim
