Braided hold in place

Is there a name for the braided leather strap to braided round knot that holds the knife in the sheath? Wanting to make this setup, but may have more desire than talent. Trying to scour the web for tutorials or out right purchase, but can't seem to get the right keywords. Have seen tutorials on braiding, cowboy knots, pineapple knots, etc., but not anything specific to sheath or leather closure examples.
