Hello to All, I'd like to make the following announcement:
Bram Frank has been inducted into the Black Belt magazine Hall of Fame as the Weapon's Instructor of the Year 2007. The Black Belt Hall Of Fame is about the highest award any martial artist can receive as Black Belt magazine has been the longest running periodical having been in publication for over 40 years. This will be featured in the December 2007 issue and should be on the stands this week.
This is not only a tribute the dedication that Bram has put into his craft but a tribute to all the dedicated "bladers" out there as well. I have included the article below.
On an additional note, Bram Frank has been just named by the Israeli Government and Dr. Dennis Hanover, The Father of Israeli Martial arts as the Father of Israeli Knife Combatives for his decade of teaching the teams et al Knife and combative blade work. For any of you who may be unfamiliar with Dr. Hannover, he has been a fixture in Israeli martial arts and combatives for many a year and was most recently shown on the Krav Maga episode of Living Weapon.
Congratulations, Bram.
Yours,
Dan Anderson
