Bram or Sal, what happend to the big Gunting clips?

What happened to the big Gunting clips shown on the Gunting and Drone prototypes i.e. why did they not go into production?

they shrunk?
ahh they got smaller?
I think they were in the sun to long....
we washed them in very very hot water and stuck them in the drier...
"Honey, I shrunk the clips.."
