So I came home with a friend last night to find a long package waiting for me on the couch -- my 15" Ang Khola had arrived! What can I say, everything about this rig - the khukuri, the sheath, the karda and chakma, is absolutely beautiful.
Now my friend, not being a knife knut, can usually be found rolling his eyes at how many knives I buy every year. Whenever I buy a new one, he goes, "What? You paid how much for that? How many knives do you have now? You're crazy." But this time all he had to say was, "Hey, that's a nice knife!"
Got the khukuri bug bad now. Already trying to figure out which one to pick up next!

Actually, besides the fact that we have ANOTHER Japanese speaker here, I don't see too much of a clue myself.
Two new HIKV addicts in one thread. This is rapidly becoming an epidemic. Hahaha
 
Hi, welcome to the busiest forum on BFC except general forum! Now HI forum is the most frequent of Japanese speakers. Seems quite epidemic but which one, Japanese language or HIKV?

The khukuri has gotten a good response so far, I took it to work with me yesterday and everyone at the office thought it was very nice. Well, except for one guy, who wouldn't even touch it,

but for the most part everyone likes a khukuri!
